Job Description

  • The individual is responsible for the factory outsourcing operation management supporting Boards and System Business.
  • In this capacity, the candidate is expected to mobilize resources within ODM to ensure all operation, engineering and quality related activities are executed smoothly to meet Intel's product schedules and requirements.
  • This position requires strong program management, leadership, stakeholder management, critical thinking and communication skills, coupled with the ability to influence and drive ODM or internal team for continuous improvement in delivering to CQAT advantages and best in class indicators.

  • The candidate will collaborate closely with Business Unit partners to deliver to Business Unit expectation.
  • The responsibilities will include but not limited to the following :
  • Point of escalation related to factory
  • Drive ODMs output max to meet build or ship requirements and proactively work to resolve any issues that may negatively impact their ability to meet our business requirements.
  • Drive ODMs to comply to business process requirement. Monitor the flow of work in process through the manufacturing facility and ensure compliance with our operating policies and procedures.
  • Track overall factory performance through well-defined CSIs and pro-actively collaborate with both internal or external stakeholders to identify opportunities and deploy solutions for continuous improvement
  • Interact and collaborate with stakeholders for demand support or supply chain centric improvement, influence and drive towards operation excellence
  • Lead factory capacity and capability readiness as well as ramp management, oversight ODM's actions to ensure flawless execution in manufacturing capacity, line and factory expansion, site transfer, relay out, automation and other improvement projects before deployment
  • Lead Get Well with ODM senior management to address performance issue
  • Strategize, coordinate site readiness and ensure ODMs are ready to support our business requirements throughout the Product Life Cycle of NPI, Ramp, Sustaining and EOL including consolidation
  • Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor or a Master's degree in Science or Engineering (Mechanical, Materials or Electrical / Electronic discipline) or Business and Supply chain with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the board and system business.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently with minimum supervision. He or she must possess strong Influencing and Stakeholders Management skill as he or she needs to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the alignment of operational strategy and goals with crisp follow-up execution.
  • The candidate should also have strong Program Management Skills including the ability to organize, run task force or work groups, and provide concise reports for management update
  • Good communications skills (both written and verbal) in English is essential. As candidate needs to interact frequently with ODMs, command of Mandarin both written and verbal will be an added advantage.
