Senior Test Engineer plays a pivotal role in the development of new products. You will be working on mixed signal products being a member of the project team in close co-operation with other disciplines such as Product Engineering, IC Design, DfT Engineering, IC Validation, Software Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing.
The responsibilities include :
Work with multi-disciplinary team on new silicon development from early phases of product definition to production phase.
Start with the creation of a test strategy and translate this into a detailed test plan
Deploy DfX methods in the design and development of new products
Define IC type specific test-hardware targeted for the ATE (Advantest)
Write test code in combination with other software for execution on ATE during the design phase
Design, debug and release test hardware (probe card, load board) and software (test program) for qualification, validation and sampling in the project, followed by the production release
Use problem solving approach and methods to work with Design, Application, and Manufacturing teams to solve New Product Introduction challenges
Support Safe Launch in line with manufacturing quality requirement
Support Volume Ramp-Up towards product Entitlement including test time reduction and yield optimization per business target, and test stage elimination in line with manufacturing test strategy
Continue to reduce overall cost of test while maintaining production quality and securing the Automotive Zero defect (low PPM) requirement
Business line RF processing is leading in mixed signal processors for car infotainment, personal health and car radar applications.

Test Engineering is involved in new product introduction projects through product safe launch and volume ramp-up. You will join our group who create Radar and Radio Integrated Circuits for Car systems of the future.
Senior Test Engineer requires deep core competence in Test Engineering with strong connection to partnering competences, such as IC Design, DfT Engineering, Product Engineering and Application.
Strong communication skills, sense of ownership, curiosity beyond boundaries, team oriented but able to work independently are some of the personal traits forming key to success in this role.
You have :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
5 years of experience in semiconductor Product or Test Engineering, IC Design or Validation
Experience in new product introduction and volume ramp-up
Test instrumentation techniques and methodology is a must
Good understanding of VLSI test techniques and basic understanding of RF functional block preferred
At least 3 year experience with industrialization and testing of components or IC’s on industrial testers (Advantest 93k preferred)
Skills in programming languages like Python, R, C++
Knowledge and experience in Analogue / Mixed Signal / RF measurement techniques, automotive environment preferred
Understanding of RADAR / mmWave ICs and test solutions is a plus
Experience with requirements management for VnV methods is a plus
Basic statistical knowledge is a must, while experience on SPC (Statistical Process Control) is a plus
