medium term demand in both volume and value to the business for an efficient S&OP process SCOPE / DIMENSIONS OF ROLETo ensure supply by monitoring daily supply operationsTo provide a link in the supply chain between Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Finance through the generation and enhancement of demand-
related information.To work with logistics function, so as to ensure customer demand is met in full and on time at each location to support Sales / Marketing Departments' plans within the company's policies.
Manage and develop the Supply Chain activities in relation to the following areas catering to HK / TW business growth : Demand & Supply Planning on unconstraint and constrained basisS&OP processCustomer Services RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES1.
Supply Planning Monitor and handle daily supply planning operations to ensure supplyCompile and validate supply numbers based on demand numbersDecide on items to order and quantity based on demand and Company’s policy on inventory management 2.
Demand Planning - Rigorous review and monitoring of sales plan by category and forecast to be adjusted.Initiate changes in planned deliveries to cater for any changes in inventory levels / sales plans.
Communicate any changes for known supply or demand activitiesHandle routine forecast review activities3. Gap Control - Identify gaps by brand / category and manage the process to identify ways to close gap.
Monitor and manage inventory movements4. NPD Tracking - Maintain a list of projects due for launch in next 3 months5. Assist Demand Forecasting Manager in facilitating S&OP meetings6.
Logistics Function manage 3PL for embellishments, stock issue and accuracy of stocks.7. Provide accurate short-medium terms demand forecasting by closely working with Sales & Marketing8.
Support / Lead Supply Excellence projects9. System updating and reporting duties are required KEY CHALLENGESFast response and good communication in supply planning activitiesUnderstanding all the demand drivers and their impact on the sales forecastBeing able to quickly identify abnormal demand patterns (either demand or supply related) and determining the impact on the businessUnderstanding how brand plans and customer management plans are developedUnderstanding how our promotional strategy is developedAct as the gatekeeper of the sales forecast and, as such, to challenge Sales and Marketing assumptions and their requests for changesExcellent understanding on data and market dynamicDiligence & fast thinking PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE1.
