As a Program / Project Manager at Micron Technology within the Global Facilities Department, you are responsible for working with leaders at various levels and individual Team Members to ensure effective program implementation, compliance, and efficiency.
In this role you will be assigned a primary program, system, application, or project focus along with additional responsibilities that may include program, system, application, or project duties.
Primary Focus :
Facilities Software application management
Primary Responsibilities :
You will be the point of contact on issues dealing with Global Facilities software, associated interfaces, programming and reporting including but not limited to FMS, Autocad, SKF and SKM.
Providing support to the sites within your assigned region
Ensuring sites are compliant with the Global Facilities guidelines
Receiving requests for modifications / changes and ensuring they are properly reviewed for approval
Provide ongoing training support to the sites as requested
Development of Global Process Standards to be used as governance for each site
Manage system data integrity
Responsible for the coordination of all new releases and approved enhancements with all customers, end users, Information Systems group and training.
Coordinate bringing new sites into the Facilities software systems.
Coordinate with the Facilities Management Group and Information Systems to develop reporting tools and reports.
Manage Global Facilities Hardware upgrades such as personal computer or laptop upgrades.
Serve as backup to other region software coordinators in case of their absence
Work with the Information Technology(IT) group on implementation and maintenance of applications.
Participate with IT to assist in reviewing and prioritizing requests for software enhancements.
Work with the IT to plan, develop and enhance software functionality.
Communicate software releases, enhancements, scheduled downtime or issues to all site coordinators,
software leads and stakeholders.
Work with IT, including outsource support for trouble shooting activities with Facilities software
Routine review of data integrity. Coordinate with training coordinators and the site coordinators
to resolve or clarify issues.
Responsible for the completion and consistency of system administration functions in the Facilities
Asset Management system.

Initiate and Plan Programs
Define scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders
Define alignment of programs to company strategic objectives
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve program goals
Plan and schedule program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
Create roadmaps for future projects with internal customers and stakeholders
Execute, Monitor / Control and Close Projects
Identify and manage project dependencies
Track project milestones and deliverables
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Manage changes in project scope
Identify potential crises, and develop and execute resolution plans
