Monitor and report to the head of FI Sales / GMD on progress against agreed plans and targets.
Identify the risks associated the GMD business, and communicate to the head of FI sales / GMD within area of responsibility.
Oversee product development in all areas of responsibility.
Co-ordinate strategy with local network and Coverage Officers. Liaise with Coverage Officers in all marketing opportunities.
Market products by speaking with customers about their needs, financial markets and propose suitable ideas and recommendations.
Identify, target and solicit new customers.
Originate transactions from clients and co-ordinate the efficient execution of the trading desk.
Be aware of all economic and financial data likely to affect the products being marketed.
Develop knowledge of client needs and co-ordinate the Bank’s efforts to service customer organisations.
Plan and organise client visits and meetings.
Minimal education level
Postgraduate degree MA / MSc / PhD / Doctorate or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
Degree preferably in a Mathematical or Management subject
Level of minimal experience
Experience in sales for the FIM market, Derivatives and trading environment in Fixed Income Markets
Experience in all aspects of managing a team (i.e. people, systems, HR, sales)
Good understanding of the FIM product line
Superior sales skills
Extensive market knowledge
Be familiar with Local Regulation etc.,
Meet local qualification of Derivatives Personnel and Providing Information & Advisory for Offshore Derivatives Personnel
Qualification of business Personnel for Master Agent of Offshore Structured Products
Local Senior Specialist Certificate and Financial Markets and Professional Ethics Certificate
Technical skills required
Excellent in MS Office software (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
Good command of English and expert command of Mandarin are must (reading, speaking and writing)
