Support design-in of Cypress IoT Embedded or Combo devices at strategic customers.
Designing reference board for new silicon bring up and verification.
Work with internal hardware and software engineering to debug and verify new chips and reference boards.
Perform RF tuning on customer specific configuration to optimize performance.
Debug and integrate wireless software and firmware as part of system level verification and optimization.
Develop test software in Labview or C++ for control, calibration, automation, reporting, and tracking.
Write Application Notes.
Lead a team to support specific application or customer field.
Provide training to internal FAEs as well as distributor FAEs.
Diplomatic, responsive customer interface.
Experience with RF test equipments including Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Network Analyzer, WIFI OBT, Bluetooth protocol analyzer, etc.
Familiar with schematic to layout design flow and board design tools including Allegro, Orcad, PowerPCB, Protel etc.
Must have working knowledge of WLAN / BT board-level testing.
Experience in wireless system design using RF and baseband components in the 2.4 and 5 GHz ISM bands
Experience in RF and LAN system performance testing
Ability to design and execute engineering experiments in RF and embedded systems
Strong team-player and practical problem solver to work with internal chip and software engineering
Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
Preferred some experience with reading and writing LabView (desired), C++, Python, Perl.
MSEE / BSEE plus minimum 10 years relevant design experience
