DescriptionAs a Financial Analyst at Micron Memory Taiwan (Fab16), you will be responsible for all aspects of financial analysis, planning and reporting on manufacturing operating expenses and unit costs, capital expenditure and scenario planning.
You will partner closely with finance and other cross-functional teams in the reviews of actual and forecasted data as well as participate in the manufacturing budgeting process.
You will also be a key financial resource to support site operations in understanding their operating expenses, evaluation of capital projects and scenarios.
ResponsibilitiesCollect and organize required Corporate Metric DataMonthly review, analysis and report of actual costs and comparison to plan and prior period performanceQuarterly review, analysis and report of forecasted costs and comparison to prior forecast(s)Prepare and present business results and projections to management teamProvide support / assistance to cost centre managers with respect to expense planning, cost control and variance reportingOngoing support of management information requests and special projects as assigned by management.
Establish a strong understanding of fab financials and cost drivers to provide effective analysis and help drive good business decisions and competitive costs (include benchmarking, identification of cost saving opportunities through data and metrics).
Continuous review of financial analysis methods, tools, product cost allocation model and processes; implement improvements as needed in order to improve the quality of analysis.
Continuously work to improve the coordination and communication among site finance teams, Taiwan Shared Services Centre (SSC) as well as Worldwide Operation Finance team.
Build and maintain effective customer relationships.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 4 years of Accounting or Finance experiencePrior work experience in the Semiconductor industry and / or manufacturing operations is a plusProficient in ERP systems (such as SAP), Microsoft Office suite and database applications (such as Cognos)Strong analytical and problem-
solving skillsPlanning, reporting and / or financial modeling experienceExperience in partnering with Operations and Finance teamsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsAbility to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environmentOrganized and detail-
