271 - Strategic Business Development Mgmt - Strategic Business Development Mgmt : Evaluates and manages new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and / or joint ventures.
Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives.
Defines vision, strategies, and tactics. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
MV - Business Development - Responsible for establishing strategic business development initiatives that drive corporate growth through product expansion, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances.
Works with marketing, sales and technology groups to implement business development strategy into specific initiatives. Consults with various legal and administrative personnel to ensure compliance with all product and business initiatives.
Analyzes information and develops recommendations. Conducts financial analyses of prospective business ventures. Prepares proposals and negotiates terms.
To lead and direct the service delivery personnel assigned to the services contractTo provide oversight and escalation management of sub-contractor and partner performance to ensure objectives of the services contract are met and exceeded.
Within the services scope, manage budget requirements and improve gross margins by influencing and achieving savings of controllable costs as well as working collaboratively with the sales team to drive revenue growth
Education & Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications or equivalent.
Formal studies in Business and Project Management (PMBOK, PRINCE2).
Demonstrated experience (10 years +) in the establishment of positive Customer relationships in a services environment.
Significant multi-disciplinary project / program management experienceSignificant Application Lifecycle Management experience.
Demonstrated large contract service delivery and / or business development managementDemonstrated leadership in ITIL and application of service management principles.
Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence.Demonstrated experience in successfully leading Customers through systems implementation and resolving difficulties on high impact mission critical Customer operations.
Demonstrated experience in deployment of mission critical projectsDemonstrated experience in contract, financial and stakeholder management
Government business experienceDemonstrated experience in mission / business critical environment.Extensive Vendor Management experience.
Demonstrated ability to operate in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining focus on the job at hand
