Google’s Chrome OS Partner Engineering team works closely with chipset manufacturers and OEMs / ODMs in designing and delivering next-generation innovative mobile / cloud devices.
We build crucial relationships with our long-term partners, who are jointly making Chrome / Android platform into optimized cloud and portable devices.
We are driving toward a fast, secure and simple user experience for all Chrome devices and we're growing with the Android Apps in the Chromebook ecosystem.
As a Technical Account Manager on the Chrome OS Partner Engineering team, you are responsible for driving device technical innovations and making our business partners successful.
You will contribute to our current product lines and will collaborate with teams throughout Google to develop device solutions for strategic partners around the globe.
Manage strategic partnerships with large hardware manufacturers, ODMs and network operators.
Ensure successful device design, development and integration.
Manage ODMs and drive for device qualification process. Work closely with chipset and component vendors to qualify new components.
Act as a main point of technical contact and drive product and technical issues to resolution.
Work with Go-To-Market and Business Development teams to launch devices internationally.
Minimum qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of technical work experience in hardware and OS / embedded software development.
Ability to speak and write English and Chinese Mandarin fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications :
Hands-on experience with hardware; excellent debugging / troubleshooting skills.
Experience with embedded systems development and software / firmware debugging.
Familiarity with Linux application and kernel package management.
Ability to program in C (Python or C++), and knowledge of UNIX / Linux and shell scripting.
Excellent technical, vendor project management skills. Superb written and verbal communications.
