As a Marketing Manager, you own, represent and lead all marketing functions within the category while accountable for market share, brand index and most importantly, your category’s top-and-bottom line P&L.
You are responsible for
Product portfolio strategy and planning, under the defined policy and guideline, to realize budgeted targets in both value and profit, with and through the defined sales channels
Set up and execute roadmaps for the introduction of new products and the phasing-out of existing products in such a way that an optimal product portfolio is available in the market in time while generating maximum sales output
Translate the product roadmap into concrete product specifications for a small product range with known functionality and existing technologies
Optimize product introduction process and strategy by conducting market research and utilizing consumer and channel insights
Define the marketing communication plan and budget and make sure that the MarCom deliverables are in place in order to successfully introduce and promote products and compete with the competitors
Accountable for 4Ps, business P&L and annual marketing budget
Develop sales plans in cooperation with the sales channels and key accounts in order to maximize the support to the sales process
Plan, build and maintain relations with key account or key opinion leader in order to stay connected to the developments and trends in the market.
You are a part of
A dedicated Marketing Team working on Beauty business, an important part of the Personal Health portfolio. Philips is a leading brand in this category with a healthy and growing business, and with ambitious future growth plans.
You will report into to the Senior Marketing Manager and will be working in a network of various stakeholders based in both Taiwan (e.
g. consumer marketing management, R&D, design) and other countries (e.g., marketing specialists, key account managers).
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum 8 years solid marketing experience in FMCG, consumer electronics, B2C experience is a must, ideally from home appliances industry
Product marketing experience with P&L management is a must
Multi-national company experience is a plus with experience in managing complex product portfolio
Strong team player and result oriented
Strong negotiation skills and presentation skills
Strong in numbers and strong interpersonal skills
Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
Willing to take challenges and consistently achieving company goal
