The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support.

The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services.

  • Our comprehensive services include : proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24 / 7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems;
  • and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY :

    The Technical Support Engineer 3 (TSE3) will primarily interface with KLA regional service teams and customers and is responsible for facilitating technical solutions in a timely manner by responding to requests and performing complex problem diagnosis and problem resolution.

    The TSE3 works on diverse, complex issues which involve the coordination of multiple parties, including customers and internal marketing and engineering team members.

    Focus is on the improvement and enhancement of products, reduction of Cost of Service and helping to improve Customer Satisfaction.

    The TSE3 plays a lead role on tasks and projects requiring leadership skills to identify and implement solutions to complex problems that are typically hardware specific and exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

    A strong technical foundation of KLA FaST Metrology equipment or similar is needed to succeed in this role. Experience on Opti-Probe metrology equipment preferred.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Master's Level Degree with work experience of 2 years , Bachelor's Level Degree with work experience of 3 years
