Role Purpose :
Responsible for the development and execution of CGT’s end-to-end supply chain strategy to support CGT business performance objectives and achieve sustainable competitive advantage.
Accountable for leading and driving step change improvement in Supply & Demand Planning, Procurement, Master Production Scheduling, Capacity and Inventory Management and Global Warehousing and Logistics in alignment with CGT business, commercial and manufacturing operations functions.
Coordinating Cross department initiatives and strategy interdependencies within the CGT supply chain department supply planning, global supply management, logistics, contract manufacturing, operations, capacity management.
Leverage Corning corporate capabilities, regional presence, initiatives and expertise to enhance CGT supply chain execution.
Responsible to lead strategy supply chain project team and governance in area of : ERP(SAP), Data Warehouse / BI, Planning system and related projects
Disruptive innovation thinking and driving CGT Digital Supply Chain strategy and roadmap
Leadership and people management Key Responsibilities :
Develop and initiate strategic plans to drive step improvements in areas of opportunity within the end-to-end supply chain to meet / exceed customer expectations at an optimal profitability.
Coordinate among supply chain functions of various businesses under CGT to implement global sourcing strategies and contract manufacturing focused on meeting quality and financial objectives.
Deploy and enforce the Global Buying Policy.
Define and implement portfolio action to achieve an optimal supply chain network (footprint) and asset utilization / flexibility to improve working capital utilization and operating cash flow as well as tax effectiveness;
leverage the greater Corning supply chain network.
Ensure effective Supply and Demand reviews and sub-process meeting for the CGT S&OP process and final Management Business Review Plan.
Coordinate with other Corning division supply chain leaders via the Supply Chain Council to execute the Supply Chain Model, effectiveness assessment and talent development programs.
Ensure global compliance to regulatory and corporate policy.
Leading strategy project management team to drive project success.
Participating team decision and take the management of supply chain ERP(SAP) project implementation
Governance Supply Chain data warehouse project implementation and align with Corp. Power BI strategy and rollout.
Assessment and implementation factory planner system to improve regional planning operation efficiency.
Outstanding team leadership of people management to motivate staffs for operation excellence.
Process and system alignment and integration for End-to-End Supply Chain integration
Evaluate advanced systems and driving organization digitalization transformation
