System HW / RF Application engineer supporting Wi-Fi solution embedded in Gateway Platforms
Collaborating with Customer Program Managers to support field issues (on-site when needed)
Responds to customer / client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
Preparation of technical presentations and training
Plan and drive technical discussions and workshop with customers
Electric / SW / HW Eng or computer science
Experience in development of wireless / Embedded systems
Experience in system integration - Hardware knowledge (board design ), RF knowledge
Familiar with test instruments (Spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope...etc.)
Proven experience working with worldwide customers
Familiar with both schematic and PCB design for 802.11 AP / Router. Also good debug skill for 802.11 device
Strong RF transceiver knowledge
Wi-Fi RF performance testing skill (Tx EVM, Power, Spectrum Mask. Rx sensitivity, de-sense...etc.)
Regulatory certification. Familiar with FCC, IC, ETSI certification specifications, test procedures and methodology
Deep understanding of protocols across layers (L2-L3) - Wi-Fi is an advantage
Understanding Layer2 procedures (e.g. RF, multi-antenna beam-forming, MIMO, link adaptation, power control)
High debug capabilities to help and reproduce customer's bug.
Analytical approach for troubleshooting and problem solving
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Fluent English is a must
Ability to travel abroad when needed (around 20%)
