Working with the Home Senior Research Manager for TV product research, to contribute substantially to Omdia’s TV coverage.
This requires conducting research (primary and secondary), managing data tools and processes, forecasting of TV markets, and authoring analysis reports.
Coverage would include TV worldwide, with special focus on researching manufacturing, costs and product ranges. Through individual primary and secondary research activities, and in collaboration with data transformation and research support teams, the person in this role will contribute to the product’s success through research quality, team workflow support and creation of insights and analysis.
Main Areas of Responsibility & Accountability
Team support - Work very closely with CE research team members across multiple locations in Europe, Asia and US; support various market reports by assisting home team and collaborating with PRO (Penang Research Operations) as well as the bigger group of Consumer Electronics.
Secondary research Use a range of secondary sources to support primary research. As examples, these sources would include Internet, trade journals, in-house research, trade associations, public reports, financial releases, and company press releases.
log all assumptions and work in a clear way. Special responsibilities will include building forecasts of novel features based on a clear understanding of technology and video content trends.

Sales support Partner with the sales team to generate new leads, progress existing leads, and support renewals; use scoping to continually evolve the research offering
