This job exists to provide EHS support to a group of facilities on site. Responsibilities include :
Permit(s) requirement analysis and compliance plans including documentation strategies regulatory applicability assessments
Facilitation / participation for EHS incident investigations
Environmental compliance data collection and reporting
SARA emissions reporting
Environmental regulations and safety standard interpretation and application
EHS training development and delivery, EHS auditing including ODMS self-assessments, EHS management of change review, and delivery of EHS programs.
Responsible for implementation of EH&S management systems (work processes, standards, procedures) in order to add value to the business, meet business objectives and maintain the license to operate.
Reduction of EH&S incidents within the area (including compliance deviations)
Improvement of environmental regulatory reporting program. Applicability assessment and documentation of what applies, how compliance data is captured, and what must be reported.
Successful implementation of new or updated EH&S programs.
Provide EH&S expertise and input to the plants’ efforts for improving operating discipline and documentation. Be a reviewer for the plant MOC process.
Provide updates to environmental permits for their plants and implementation of the requirements management work process.
Provide EHS expertise to define projects necessary for successful achievement of the corporate EH&S 2025 goals.
Streamline EHS work processes by developing / updating operating discipline and associated tools.
