This role will report directly to the Director of External Manufacturing Sourcing and will be supporting the standup of all eternal manufacturing sourcing activities.
This role is part of the broader Global Supplier Management organization which will be stood up from the ground as NewCo transitions into a standalone entity (parent company is based in South Korea).
The Manufacturing SubCon Strategic Sourcing Manager will be expected to help build the organization infrastructure for manufacturing subcomponent sourcing activities.
The high-level responsibilities are :
Develop and implement both long and short-term enablement strategies and policies.
Build lasting relationships with the supplier ecosystem while ensuring best-in-class ramp execution, leveraging the ecosystem to maximize business and customer value.
Develop and implement competitive ramp strategies with effective use of industry benchmarks and metrics to set credible and aggressive targets.
Execute supply chain management to ensure adherence to contractual commitments proactively monitoring key performance metrics and implement effective corrective actions to address deviations
Manage group activates related to contracts, vendor / supplier ability to meet specifications, and the purchase of raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, services and supplies.
Also manages the compilation and analysis of statistical data, trend and process tracking and record keeping.
Experience in supply chain planning and execution
Proficiency in English (written and speaking) as well as local language
Experience in M&A
Experience in an international organization
Experience in semiconductor industry
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field; Masters or MBA preferred
