You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders.
Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.
As an NPI (New Product Introduction) Regional Materials Manager, you will be responsible for material planning, execution, and process improvements in our supply chain.
Your experience in the areas of NPI supply chain, material planning, and fulfillment will be critical for optimizing the material and inventory required to fulfill NPI compute hardware and technology requirements at our global data centers.
You will work closely with Supply Chain Managers, Purchasing, Commodity Management, Engineering, Contract Manufacturing, sustaining team and Suppliers to oversee the execution of the material plans that directly support Google's rapidly growing hardware infrastructure.
In this role, you will help ensure development and volume ramp of new technology through the various phases of the development lifecycle.
Additionally, you will manage the supply and demand matching reviews and supply commits for your product(s) and / or commodities, optimizing inventory levels to minimize stockouts, excess, and obsolescence (E&O) and implement best practices to ensure on time delivery.
