Purpose of Role
SecurityGuard’s duty is to safeguard, patrol and monitor any theft or violence related incidents on the hotel premises where he / she has been assigned duty.
Security Guard may receive direction from a higher-ranking security Talent; or the Security Guard may work alone. In both cases, Security Guard is responsible for providing a safe environment against any law offender and detecting any sort of disturbances that will incur losses to W Taipei.
Other duties might include providing training on security tips and job responsibilities.
Handover with previous shift.
Perform duty per roster and rotate station every 2 hours :
Liaise with Engineering regarding fire safety equipment maintenance.
Help with VIP arrivals per request.
Report to Security Talent Coaches on security incidents of the day.
Patrol guest floors and public areas according to roster time and record the
time by clocking in each area.
Carry out any other duties assigned by Security Talent Coaches.
Help with CCTV monitoring duties as required.
Attend to hotel emergencies and accidents.
Check up on suspicious guests per information provide by colleagues on CCTV duty.
Help with traffic flow in pubic area during VIP arrival.
Go with Welcome Desk Manager for opening in-room safe for guests.
Help Human Resource with difficult Talent.
Help handicapped and elderly guests with lifts.
Help guests with hotel directions.
Help guests during evacuation.
Inform WDM of any guest complaint or requests.
Inspect restaurant for wet floors or suspicious people.
