About the Role

Reporting to the Country Manager of Taiwan - this role would suit a driven sales person looking to build their career potential and grow through performance.

This is an autonomous sales role (rather than delivering sales through a team), supporting the business plan in delivering both a sales uplift for the region with a focus on long term brand growth.

The role will have accountability to create and implement a client plan to map and realise the growth potential of accounts, with focus on developing and building strong relationships locally with retailers throughout Taiwan.

You'll contribute by :

  • Familiarization with existing, as well as identifying key decisions makers within potential clients, and tenaciously generate new opportunities for integrated loyalty solution with focus on key retail sectors
  • Rigorously identify business development initiatives that further company’s growth strategy
  • Influence clients within every stage of sales prospecting, handle negotiations, close deals and manage through contracting and implementation process
  • Develop specific solutions for different verticals by analyzing customer potential, markets and competition, to deliver compelling business cases that clearly justify client requirement / needs
  • Build strong relationships inspiring trust and credibility, and present new business strategies, collaborating internally regarding existing projects and programmes.
  • Develop and manage a qualified pipeline of targeted customer opportunities on a continual basis
  • Analyze programme objectives vs performance data and identify strategies for increasing the performance of client’s marketing campaigns
  • Carry out weekly and monthly forecasting and reporting on business development within the territory covered

    About You

    The ideal candidate for this role will be easily able to associate with the culture, entrepreneurial style and flat operating structure of tcc.

    You will be able to comfortably work in a fast paced, dynamic and driven environment that is non-hierarchical, and collaborative in its attitude.

    A self starter and business developer having operated successfully at senior level, in order to gain interest with existing and prospective clients.

    The accountability for sales lies with yourself rather than managing a team, therefore, it's a given that you'll be proficient in consultative selling (having sold concepts rather than products to retailers). Together with :

  • Robust track-record and experience in a sales environment preferably gained in digital media, advertising and promotion retail, loyalty marketing or marketing services, especially within the retail space.
  • Experience with the Taiwan's food retail market is advantageous
  • An understanding of retail marketing
  • Fluent language skills in both English & Chinese (verbal and written) to be able to communicate with our clients.
  • Excellent communication ability, both verbally and written; a strong presenter and able to pitch at the highest level
  • Demonstrable customer relationship management experience gained within or supporting retail consumer brands
  • The ability to engage and work as a team player, operating effectively cross functionally.
  • Very strong analytical skills; someone who can interpret facts and data quickly, understand new concepts and can cut through the detail to communicate them clearly and concisely to a senior management audience.
  • Creativity to identify appropriate marketing solutions and to open others minds to new and fresh initiatives.
