Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Our Apps Specialist’s team is tasked with driving client business growth through new product activations while being trusted advisors to sales teams as well as product teams, influencing them to develop products that cater to our market’s and client’s opportunities.

As an Apps Specialist, you will be focused on leading the commercialization and activation of our core App Install and Engagement business.

You will work with our Taiwan Gaming and Performance / Retail teams as well as support Hong Kong app clients. You will build partnerships at various levels of the organization, with particular focus on partnering with Sales, Regional, and Global Product Teams.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of products by influencing and equipping clients, sales teams, and sales leaders with the partnership of other cross-functional team members.
  • Co-define and execute product adoption OKRs with sales teams / partners.

  • Lead sales pitches on app product solutions and partner with sales teams on shifting the client mindset to adopt our products and meet our best practices.
  • Manage the translation of the apps business plan into quarterly actions like named account list creation, scalable initiatives, upskill activities, etc.
  • Consult with clients and sales teams to identify needs and develop initiatives to drive app product adoption metrics.

  • Identify gaps in products and build business cases based on advertiser needs. Synthesize viewpoints and communicate the client perspective for the product features and solutions.
  • Escalate issues you or the customers face with our products, processes or tools.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in online / mobile marketing.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently and idiomatically.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • MBA or graduate degree in a management or technical field or prior work experience in an online tech / advertising / mobile apps / gaming company.
  • Experience in creating online marketing and advertising strategies for performance focused clients. Experience working in or with Greater China markets.
  • Experience in project management, with knowledge of Google’s products.
  • Ability to influence, build client relationships and create strategic programs to drive performance.
  • Passion for product development with the ability to juggle multiple work-streams while paying close attention to detail.
  • Highly analytical and data driven with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
