About the Job

This role is responsible for employee communications for TI Taiwan. This person is responsible for recommending and executing communications strategies for engaging and educating external audiences, as well as inform employees on organizational strategy, influencing behaviors and managing change.

It is also this person’s responsibility to provide executive communications counsel to organizational leaders. This includes key message development and implementing creative strategies and tactics to ensure those messages are broadly understood.

He / she will be a member of TI’s worldwide Employee Communications Forum and may have opportunities to work across organizations on various cross-company employee communications efforts.

As part of the corporate role, this person will contribute to the development and production of corporate content and newsletters to deliver company news and other important content to internal and external audiences.

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Partnering with TI Taiwan Manufacturing Managing Director, leaders of Taiwan Sales & Marketing organization and HR to plan, manage and execute employee communications strategies.
  • Creating effective content to engage audiences around TI’s employer value proposition; inform employees around organizations strategy, priorities and initiatives.
  • Able to map the right message to the right delivery channel.

  • Maximizing key external and internal communications forums and channels, such as social media, town halls, round tables, executive presentations, intranet pages, leader emails, digital signage and more.
  • Driving communications activities that support employee engagement and ensure employees understand priorities and focus of their organization.
  • Counseling leaders on best practices in employee communications and engagement.
  • Planning and executing communications around organizational changes and / or issues management.
  • Working with WW social media team and PR agency in Taiwan on all aspects of social community management of TI’s Taiwan social channel (Facebook), including : providing strategic support with content development, scheduling, moderating, paid execution, comment management.
  • Responsible for strategic volunteer event planning, management and recruitment with goal of highlighting TI’s commitment to building stronger communities.
  • Preferred qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications or journalism, Master degree is optional.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience in corporate communications, employee (internal)l communications or media relations.
  • Experience in engaging with director to general manager levels.
  • Knowledge of the high-tech or semiconductor industries are preferred, but not required.

  • Excellent time-management and execution skills to simultaneously drive on-time execution of multiple projects.
  • Strong knack for analyzing and acting on analytics (measure, analyze, communicate campaigns).
  • Ability to learn web technologies, infrastructure and tools to recommend action based on data.
  • Desire to continuously improve in your role.
