Responsibilities
As an Analog Design intern at NXP you will work with a highly specialized team of Analog and Digital Mixed Signal Engineers in one or more of these tasks :
Planning : Work with the senior designers in terms of project management, design block specification, circuit design and documentation
Implementation : Design blocks as per specification, work with the layout team to get the extracted views for final checks.
Verification : Block level simulation using schematics / extracted views, debugging block and top-level simulations, prepare technical reviews and product / block documentation
Perform laboratory evaluation and debug of new solutions and provide support to test and validation teams to guarantee performance in full production programs.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a BSEE or MSEE with some exposure to circuit design Qualifications
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
Self-starter and fast learner with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
Basic understanding of device fundamentals, fabrication process and layout non-idealities.
Basic familiarity with traditional analog mixed signal circuit block features and design including amplifiers, regulators, bandgaps, oscillators and data converters.
Basic working knowledge of Cadence design tools.
