Performance Senior Principal Product Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving a team to deliver process and product improvements in system performance by working with subject matter experts within Dell.
  • These key members will be from the Thermal, Power, and Performance engineering teams.

  • Responsible for working with key technology providers to align with them on product developments and in the process to achieve optimum performance.
  • Responsible for working with ODMS to drive the processes and training to meet key product and performance goals.
  • Must be able to work across organizations to drive alignment of the efforts and to deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Will act as the primary point of contact for the Thermal, Power, and Performance improvement programs.
  • Essential Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • BS / MS in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or equivalent desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and to drive process improvements.
  • Have strong communication skills and be able to work across an organization.
  • Ideal candidate will have previous experience with performance engineering (thermal engineering and / or software engineering), benchmarking, and sub-system optimizations.
  • Previous experience with system integration including building PCs / workstations, installing operating systems, drivers, BIOS, application software and configuring the system for optimum performance.
