Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays ( LCDs ) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Day to Day Responsibilities :
Major cover CBW (Cut, Bevel, Wash) related equipment. Includes design, development, retrofit and new line expansion project.
Manage design changes, and prepare procedure document as for SOP / SOS, technical reports, etc.
Schedule, budget, quality, and safety control during installation and startup support
Supports new technology migration through equipment installation, process optimization and documentations.
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
Work with vendor to ensure proper equipment design and upgrades to be installed per plan.
Support operations personnel via trouble shooting and provide training as needed.
