TheF16 ATE Diff Section Manager is accountable forestablishing and continuously improving the performance of theDiffusion, Implant and regE KPIs to achieve Best-

In-Classperformance. This includes overseeing activities related to newtechnology start-up, transfer and the technical support incollaboration with other departments and partners to achievebenchmark performances in Safety, TTMCY, TTQ, CT and Cost.

Yourresponsibilities also include establishing the EquipmentStrategy / MTEP, managing new technode equipment install / release andMOR-POR Gap Closures.

AsSection Leader, you will also partake in the selection, developmentand sustainability of a high value workforce, as well as technicaland leadership development.

The ATE Section Manager is alsoresponsible for working with Technology Development, OperationCentral Teams and Network Business Partners to ensure standards arecreated that meet the needs of the Fab and that these standards areimplemented within the Fabeffectively.

Responsibilities andTasks

Department Management

  • Drive for efficiency in all workprocesses
  • Identify manage and monitor keyperformance indicators (KPIs) for thesection
  • Establish a proactive qualitycontrol culture within the section (SPC / FDC,etc.)
  • Ensure effective change managementis maintained (SWR, GCP, GeRM,etc.)
  • Formulate and drive fixes for mainyield issues across allproducts
  • Drive process simplificationprojects and support RPT reductions to maximize Fab efficiency andcosts
  • Promote and model the use ofsystematic thinkingprocesses
  • Manage new tool purchases,installations, and qualifications with planning, production andprocessengineering
  • Manage new process / productqualification and integration with TD, production and processengineering
  • Provide feedback to TD on processimprovements being made at site to help enable a more efficienttransfer on the nextnode
  • Coordinate with Central Teams tosupport global initiative, Copy Smart initiative and others asneeded
  • Strategic Communication

  • Communicate section goals and areasof focus within your sphere ofinfluence
  • Provide section updates to reviewcurrent status and future goals andobjectives
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue withglobalcounterparts
  • Communicate customer expectationsto theorganization

  • Drive a culture of projectmanagement within thesection
  • Prioritize and approve projects toalign with F15’s areas offocus
  • Manage, measure and monitorprojects to ensure deliverables and time frames aremet
  • Provide project resources andremovebarriers
  • Actively sponsor change initiativeswithin the sphere ofinfluence
  • Incorporate change managementmethodologies
  • Environmental, Health, Safetyand Security

  • Exercise due diligence to preventand detect safety and environmental hazards andviolations
  • Demonstrate support for EHSprograms to reinforce a positive culture for EHSactivities
  • Demonstrate support for theexecution of the EHS management systems throughout theorganization
  • Ensure required EHS training iscompleted
  • Provide team members the resourcesnecessary to fulfill their EHSresponsibilities
  • Clearly communicate expectationsand enforce safety and environmentalpolicies
  • Promptly implement preventative andcorrective actions when gaps in expectations areidentified
  • Communicate problems or concerns tothe appropriate individualimmediately
  • Required

    Bachelors Degree or equivalentexperience

  • Engineering
  • Related field ofstudy
  • Required

  • At least 3 years experience asDiff / Impmanager
  • Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in an Micron Managerposition
  • Thorough knowledge of the PEE team structure, standards andprocesses
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams in defining and solvingprocessproblems
  • Advanced and thorough understanding of the DRAMprocess
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal andwritten
  • Strong data analysis, problem solving and troubleshootingskills
  • The ability to travel to remote sites for extended periods of timefor training, information sharing, and implementation of systems tosupport the company goals isrequired
