Position DescriptionAs part of the larger Global Technology & Operations (GT&O) organization in Asia, the Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting team (APAC GTO NFRR) governs and manages operational risk (people, process, systems and external event risks) and controls across various Technology, Banking and Markets operations units in Asia Pacific.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) Initiatives and Remediation team is part of the APAC GTO NFRR team.
The role supports GT&O front line unit leaders in implementation and ongoing management of changes, remediation, initiatives in NFRR space, including : Primary contact for the NFRR Program related Initiatives / Changes / RemediationEnsure changes in laws and regulations are evaluated for impact to relevant reports, plan for implementation of change is developed and tracked.
Identify change implementation risks and ensure those are signed off by the respective stakeholdersCommunicate project risks and go to green plans to business leadersWorking with report owners to facilitate implementation of changes.
Ensuring that the regional governance model operates as designed including regional governance meetings with key stakeholders, the provision of metrics and reporting, follow up on issuesDeveloping and producing metrics and analytics on regulatory reporting changes and issues, if any.
Provide appropriate status communication to governance forums and relevant stakeholdersProvide Regulatory Reporting Risk subject matter expertise for Technology & Operations areasDevelop and maintain relationships with Operations, Technology, Audit, Compliance and other control groupsKey RequirementsStrong communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levelsAbility to work within a team environment and to stick to deadlinesStrong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePointAbility to manage projectsExperience of analyzing and documenting business processes, and developing solutionsExperience of regulatory reporting processesAbility to analyze and manipulate dataCritical thinking / analytical skills, challenge mindsetStrong ability to document information and metrics in a concise, accurate, and well-
