Your responsibilities will include

not limited to) :

  • Establish and maintain enduring, inclusive relationships and communication with key stakeholders across the defense, space and energy sectors, and liaise effectively with Parliament.
  • Monitor regional Taiwan policy activities and initiatives and advise Lockheed Martin leadership and staff on relevant policy proposals, actions, and potential impact on business
  • Help organize and shape Lockheed Martin campaign strategies in Taiwan, to include providing necessary language translation and distribution of marketing materials to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate business development with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategies, use of common resources and general knowledge of the corporation’s activities in Taiwan.
  • Develop materials in support of the organization’s business development activities such as country briefings, talking points, legislative / political summaries, fact sheets, meeting papers, reports and communication.
  • Plan and coordinate events and activities to support the Corporation’s business development goals in Taiwan.

  • Serve as the primary POC and interface with the US Embassy
  • Plan and execute visit preparations and business meetings for senior Lockheed Martin executives.
  • Provide support to LM Business Area capture efforts as directed.
  • Provide political, military and economic situation reports to Lockheed Martin leadership.
  • Maintain awareness of LM equities and interest in Taiwan.
  • About you :

    Our ideal candidate demonstrates the following traits and skills : -

  • To be considered for this role, you will ideally have Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with significant experience or equivalent / combined education;
  • as well as able to read, speak, write and interpret and translate Mandarin to English and English to Mandarin.

  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills

  • Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and communicate market intelligence in order to anticipate emerging trends within the energy industry and hedge against competitor strategies
  • Ability to exercise discretion and capacity to handle private and confidential issues.
  • Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.
  • Required skills :

  • Expertise in relevant politics, business and culture
  • Familiar with Taiwan military organizations and Government acquisition process
  • Understanding of offsets and local industries
  • Past experience with overseas assignment
  • Knowledge or experience of military and aerospace industry desired
  • Exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, analytical and resourceful capability.
  • Ability to assess issues and develop resolutions to meet client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated business acumen including an ability to investigate, comprehend, and interpret complex business challenges (including Profit & Loss concepts) in an international context
  • Special Requirements :

    Ability to read, speak, write, interpret and translate Mandarin to English and English to Mandarin.
