OMT OI Reporting : Job Description
An Industrial Engineering Operations Improvement Engineer is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the performance of the Fab.
An Operations Improvement Engineer s responsibility is to identify opportunities for improvement (output, cycle time, cost or quality), design and build a solution, and implement.
Primary Responsibilities are included but not limited to :
Safety and Quality
Completes all required safety training and ensure all work is conducted in accordance with safety policies
Followed up on quality related issues and works toward resolution
Communication and Collaboration
Partners with production teams to address issues as they arise and provide consolidated solution.
Lead and participate in the creation, maintenance, improvement and training of software, reports and metrics used by Production and Engineering
Partners with other leaders to meet the needs of the Fab and build strong peer relationships
Communicates data findings and recommends solutions to diverse audiences
Innovate the prescriptive decision support solutions proactively drive the fab performance
Coordinates the development, maintenance and optimization of the World-Class Fab decision support systems
Partners with stakeholder to ensure tactical performance to meet strategic needs
Partners with global OI network to identify and leverage best-known-methods
Management projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required timeframe
Minimum Requirements :
Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, Industrial Engineering or related field of study
Proficiency in basic programming skills : SQL, Python, and C#. Angular is a plus.
Knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming, database technologies, machine learning, analytics and Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
