Develops and implements product strategy and business plans to targeting markets, industries, and customers.
Identifies application trends and technologies of customers.
Generate long term product planning and distinguishes priorities of product lines.
Drives revenue and market share growth of specific product lines.
Tracks progress to plan for financial metrics.
Leads initiatives supporting profit growth and return on investment for the connectivity solutions products.
Works with demand planning and manufacturing sites to establish the strategy for cost reduction, capacity planning and quality improvement projects.
Sets prioritization with the procurement and manufacturing sites.
Drives approach to the product development process across all cross functional engineering and project teams, establishing requirements of VOC, business case scenarios and leads tactical execution supporting on TTM schedule.
Manages multiple GPM to develop and implement the strategic direction for assigned product lines in support of business unit targets.
Acts as a focal point for market knowledge, profitability, forecasts, commercialization and planning of a broad range of product lines.
Makes priority decisions of product lines in all Product Management function.
Assures that product promotion and commercial plans including sales tools, website literature, marketing collection, distribution, stocking, training, and sampling are developed and sets direction and priority product lines.
Supervises directly the responsibility for global marketing professionals and the support staff.
Develops a strategic plan for the direction of product lines and technology needs for the connectivity solutions segment.
Makes tactical and high level strategic decisions working with the GM and the marketing team.
Leads accountability for revenue growth.
Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering or Business related field.
Over 10 years of experience in product management / marketing / sales experience in connectivity industry.
Excellent supervisory experience.
Possess related computer skills such as word processing, spreadsheet, database management, and presentation software.
Effective written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas, exchange information clearly and concisely, and deliver concise and effective presentations to customers and internal teams.
Be proactive rather than reactive and must be able to demonstrate personal initiative.
Domestic and international travel will be a regular job duty.
