Job Summary :

As part of the IoT development team, the Field Application Engineer, Digital and Transformation, IoT Solutions participates in the maintenance and enhancement of West IoT solutions with a focus on internal and external customer.

The role will work with an international team to bring the power of IoT in the Pharmaceutical space, contributing to a more efficient and effective production flow as well as instrumentally contribute to West Pharma IoT internal and customer facing capabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Being an expert in the West IoT solutions to provide training and support to users
  • Own of the user documentation by ensuring its completeness and consistency
  • Collect user feedback to work with development team on feature enhancement proposal
  • Manage user communication, email and notification for system events
  • Work with dev & testing teams on issue / improvement feedback and tracking
  • Involve in the release management and system monitoring tooling and processes
  • Support senior roles to define roadmap and desired product features
  • Communicate & work with local and overseas teams
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Excellent communication oral and written skills
  • Experience supporting user and capturing feedback
  • Experience performing user trainings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ticket tracking systems (eg. Jira or Azure DevOps)
  • Scripting language experience (eg. Python)
  • Experience with monitoring & alerting tools
  • Experience with connectivity & protocols a plus (HTTP, MQTT)
  • Excellent organization skills with ability to organize task and team communication efficiently
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; use sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
