As an Operations Improvement Engineer in Advanced Packaging Technology Development (APTD), you will be responsible for driving in manufacturing efficiency projects to optimize cycle time, capital efficiency, factory scheduling and automation.

In this role, you will engage with internal and external teams to develop planning and scheduling modules to improve production metrics for both Postfab Wafer Finish (PWF) and Assembly areas.

Successful Candidates for this position will have :

  • Be a coordinator to communicate with MFG to manage the lot status, hold lots, WIP limit, etc.
  • Apply the job concepts to line management, capacity analysis, scheduling and production planning.
  • In depth technical understanding, especially of Industrial Engineering and scheduling / automation concepts. Good knowledge in inventory management, simulation, optimization, modeling, forecasting, automation, statistics, data mining and database management.
  • Ability to lead and participate in cross-area teams, with proven ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Intermediate to an advance understanding of Supply Chain Master Data Management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of data structures of software system such as ERP systems and manufacturing planning and execution system like MES and MAM system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and application including SharePoint, VBA, Java Script, HTML, SQL, JMP, Machine / Statistical Learning, etc.
  • Qualification Requirements :

  • Minimum of MS in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Operations Research, Management Science, Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field of study.
  • Three years of experience with strong knowledge and interest in Industrial Engineering related fields.
