We go out of our way to give our customers the help they need. Our Network Support team specializes in our most highly technical and sophisticated network products issues can span installation, operation, configuration, customization, performance and usage.
Fully trained on the latest upgrades or new products, the team can diagnose the problem and recommend the right solution.
The Advisor will assist in the planning, development, installation and operations of network systems by evaluating current and future business requirements and provide support for all customers as it relates to network design, network operations, network convergence and network security.
Performs complex issue analysis and may perform lead role on smaller or less complex projects
Responsible for establishing project plans, budgets, schedules and documentation of work
Conducts periodic vulnerability and security risk assessment of the network assets within the organization; ensures network availability to all users
Controls, tests and analyzes the status and performance of all components of network facilities
Designs total systems’ solutions for smaller organizations or for segment of large organization, typically using thirdparty hardware and software
Coordinates the installation of servers and storage equipment within the IT Data Center; manages capacity planning of the environment
Interfaces with global providers to develop, implement and troubleshoot unified communications solutions; plans and implements complex global unified communications infrastructures
Collaborates with other engineering and architecture groups, readily share information with others; actively seeks customer input and take responsibility for customer situations
Contributes to the development of innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems or design of complex integrated data processing and communication solutions
Provides significant direction in areas such as research studies, tradeoff analysis, operation studies, design reviews and technical briefings
Makes decisions on operating procedures, analytical approaches and workflow
5+ years of relevant experience in a professional role with a bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of experience
Strong knowledge of appropriate networks, products and protocols : EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, DNS, DHCP, Layer 2, Layer 3
Experience with Cisco Nexus (Arista EOS or Dell FTOS highly desirable as well)
An understanding of networking services and protocols : iSCSI, PXE, DNS, DHCP, IPAM
Strong troubleshooting skills
Customer management skills and strong communication skills
Ability to work in a virtual team environment
Available to travel occasionally
