Req ID : 181447 PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting partner marketing activities for Warner Media (WM) Networks Affiliate business, TV Distribution & Home Entertainment (Digital) distribution business, as well as Consumer Products business.

  • Channels Affiliate : Managing all affiliate marketing activities for all WM brand of channels in the market. Channels including.
  • HBO, HBO Family, HBO Signature, HBO Hits, Cinemax, Red By HBO, HBO GOCartoon Network, Warner TV, OHK!, Boomerang, CNNI, BFTV

  • Content Distribution : Support WM Television distribution & WM Home Entertainment (digital) distribution teams on content licensing business in the market.
  • Support to maximize the growth of WM content sales on local broadcasters and digital platforms as well as providing support to its clients on all aspects of marketing, communications, publicity of WM contents.

  • Consumer Products : Support WM Consumer Product teams on all aspects of partner marketing. Support the team to grow consumer product and franchises businesses through local partners in the market.

    Channel Affiliates

  • Initiate localized affiliate marketing activities to promote the channel and build brand.
  • Work closely with Affiliate partners on ATL / BTL promotion on loyalty, upsell, and acquisition drives for the channels.
  • Oversee any on-ground activation / campaign for brand presence and maintain share of voice in the market drive tune in, sign-ups, subscribers’ engagement.
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing and International team to promote the Channels / HBO GO brand and properties by localizing marketing campaign across affiliates platform to promote tune-in, subscribers’ engagement.
  • Serve as a key thought leader in aligning the brand’s strategies to formulate Affiliate marketing strategies to integrate promotional efforts across all platforms both internal and external (on-air, online, print, direct mail, radio, social media, on-ground etc.
  • Planning and executing local affiliate training and the annual sales / marketing forum.
  • Drive sales engagement program for affiliates such as sales incentive.
  • Work with both internal comms team and affiliates to develop and implement strategic Public Relations activities to generate publicity of channels and key properties through affiliates.
  • Manage all localization projects.
  • Monitor Local TV / media market and consumer trends.
  • Content Distribution

  • Works closely with content distribution teams (TV & Home Entertainment) to identify strategic priorities and provide all necessary marketing materials.
  • Work closely with studios counterparts (WB, HBO, HBOMAX & ANIMATIONS) to provide content info / marketing / promotional materials to content licensing clients including content production updates, scheduling, ratings,
  • Work closely with studio head offices (productions, publicity, legal, merch, and legal team) to ensure all clients’ promotions and contests are on-brand and comply with our marketing / promotional guidelines.
  • Assist on planning, management, and execution of special projects including corporate / trade event
  • Provide content publicity support for the content licensing (local interview requests, press releases, press junket coordination & talent engagement (tags), management)
  • Provide studio activity requests such as studio / location tour, show tapping requests, set visits for clients and / or promotional contest winners.
  • Manage all localization projects.
  • Consumer Products

  • Support WM Consumer Product teams on all aspects of partner marketing.
  • Support to grow consumer product and franchises business through partners in the market.
  • Manage all localization projects.

  • Minimum 8+ years marketing experience in a media industry, ideally TV industry
  • Degree / Diploma in Marketing Management or Mass Communication
  • Fluent in Chinese and English
  • A good Team Player, able to manage and work along with stakeholders of various levels and from various cultures
  • Familiar and experienced in project management
  • Passionate about TV content
  • Excellent at Multi-tasking and working on various projects at a time
  • Strong inter-personal skills
  • Strategic and creative in campaign planning
  • Creative, analytical and resourceful
