Medical Science Liaison_Rare Disease


  • Participate in identifying, profiling and prioriting top KOLs
  • Builds and maintains scientific relationships with recognized opinion leaders to identify and address scientific needs and stay abreast of current scientific trends.
  • Develops and executes MSL plans and KOLs engagement plans in alignment with brand strategy and medical strategy of supporting disease area.
  • Provides clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions (as appropriate) in academic, community, and healthcare provider settings in both group and one-on-one situations.
  • Provides actionable scientific information that enhances the value and appropriate use of Sanofi products to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborates and assists with partners in Medical Affairs and in Clinical Research in support of evidence generation, including registries and Phase II to IV clinical trials.
  • Facilitate and collaborate with KTLs in the identification of research opportunities and development of ISS
  • Collects and communicates clinical insights and intelligence on the market environment, clinical strategies, competition, and other developments relevant to the company’s success.
  • Partnering with medical affairs in the development and initiation of therapeutic areas training programs to internal stakeholders
  • Contact with others : Internal : mainly Sales & Marketing departments, Corporate / Regional Medical team, Clinical Study Unit (CSU)External : Government stakeholders, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Patient groups
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

  • Involved in any such activities must comply with HSE policy.
