As Package DesignDirector at Micron Technology, Inc., you will beresponsible for the management and development of direct reports toenable superior functional service delivery.

You will beresponsible for managing and improving functional area performanceby collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to buildand execute service strategies aligned to corporate strategicobjectives.

You will assist with improving individual capability byconducting performance appraisals with team members to create goalsand development plans.

You will monitor performance metrics toidentify and implement continual improvement opportunities. Otherresponsibilities include ensuring organizational compliance tocompany policies and regulations, as well as to departmentalprocedures, and providing organizational leadership for buildingand implementing department strategies, processes, and policythrough active participation in functional teams and projects, aswell as mentoring other functional leaders through collaborationand the development of sustainably successfulsolutions.


Provide TechnicalLeadership

  • Oversee all packagingdesign, simulation, technology developmentactivities
  • Provide guidance anddirection in setting packaging technologyroadmaps
  • Provide technicalleadership that influences and sets Assemblydirection
  • Engage with BUs andMicron’s key customers on packagingtechnology
  • Recognizeopportunities and drive technicalinnovation
  • Be fully aware of thecompetitive landscape and industrytrends
  • ProvideOrganizational Leadership to Build Functional Strategies,Processes, andPolicy

  • Represent PackageDesign and Technology Development in providing crossfunctional / departmentleadership
  • Create and executestrategies according to requirements (e.g. stakeholder, regulatory,corporate,departmental)

    A BSME with 18+ years industryexperience or an MSME with 3 years industry experience isrequired
