Manager of Service Taiwan

We are looking for a Manager of Service will be responsible for country service operations and delivering the desired customer service experience.

Ideal candidate should have relevant service experience in life science, medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or relevant industries.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks :

  • Drive service marketing and service sales strategy set-up, implementation and alignment with SEA and global service directives and guidelines.
  • Optimize service organization setup and employee development plans.
  • Manage an effective Field Service Team ensuring that Service levels are met for customer visits. Including installations, preventative maintenance visits, breakdowns, and upgrades.
  • Monitor the service performance of service team and take continuous improvement actions.
  • Responsible for service processes' set up and implementation management.
  • Ensure all information relevant to the Field Service operation is completed and stored in the relevant system. Communicate failure trends to factory.
  • Manage cost and revenue budgets against annual targets, achieve service financial targets.
  • Work closely with SEA Sales to support business growth.
  • Assist the Service Director in liaisons with the other functions or legal entities.
  • Feedback quality and / or product design related issues to quality and factories for improvement.
  • Deliver on-site services when necessary. Act as first point of contact for service key accounts.
  • Undertake any relevant tasks as may be directed by the superior from time to time.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • At least 10 years relevant service experience with 5 years of team management experience.
  • Prior experience in the life science, medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or relevant industries is preferred.
  • Leadership skills & experience : supportive, able to coach & motivate, multiple skills to work with different interface / functions, with strong business sense, willing to take challenges and with positive spirit.
  • Action and result orientated, Customer orientation focused.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Autonomy, Discipline, Focus, Customer Oriented and self-motivated
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin
  • Good working knowledge with computer tools and programs
  • Customer Driven
  • Must be familiar with software programs eg Word, Excel etc.
  • Possess valid Car driving license
