Job responsibilities : Project Management
Serve as the brain & gatekeeper for assigned projects (averagely take care of 2-4 projects simultaneously)
Work with at least 3 task force members from various departments, they all have different mindset & focus in daily execution;
and it's the analyst's job to align and ensure other associates follow what they are told to do
Give precise instruction to each project task force member and conduct quality assurance for their output
React flexibly to accommodate changes during project execution
Relentlessly monitor & check real progress against external deadline, find the solution to speed up or close the gap if needed
Set high standard on the quality of all deliverables, acknowledge nothing matters if quality is damaged or being inconsistent
Analysis & Reporting :
Everything is driven by answering clients' business questions, hence it's critical that the analyst can constantly put himself / herself in clients'
shoes, including status quo and upcoming movements of clients' business and clients' perspectives toward research projects
Ensure layout of reports are reader-friendly, numbers on report deck are 100% accurate
Use facts-based results and marketing principles to write commentaries that are relevant to answer clients' business questions
Provide actionable recommendation on how clients should react in order to tackle their business questions
Master's degree(2-year programs where a formal thesis is a mandatory item for graduation)
Major in business administration, international business, marketing, economics, applied mathematics (exclusion of literature, political science, journalism or those fields that are less relevant to business, marketing and quantitative analysis)
Sensitive to numerics
Great time-management skills, always keen to set timelines for self proactively in order to meet external deadlines
Able to clearly communicate the key takeaways & methodology of his / her thesis
Able to explain the concept of multivariate analysis (e.g. regression, correlation, factor analysis)
Understanding of marketing concepts (e.g. STP)
