Job Description

This is a commissioned sales position. The primary responsibility will be to act the primary owner on Technical Projects at top IoT and other vertical customers, working in tight collaboration with the Account Executives to deliver Deal Wins.

This position will also require involvement in delivering hands-on workshops or seminars to provide the necessary positioning and demonstration of the benefits of Intel technologies.

The ability to establish collaborative working relationships with Architects and Engineers from our business units and our ecosystems partners ( SIs, OEMs etc) will also be an essential part of the work.

The contacts and working relationships with the customers will be at multiple levels, from System Engineers to Directors of Infrastructure, and occasionally at CxO-level.

This ITS role also requires :

  • Understand the Customer challenge, evolve the business use case and propose a solution / solution play for the same on Intel Platform technologies and adjacencies.
  • Be able to evaluate and discuss the technical merits of a solution / solution play , developing ROI / TCO models and co-
  • owning relationships with customer / partner decision makers to influence the customers purchasing decision.

  • Collaborate with various stake holders both internal and external to accelerate adoption of Intel-based platforms through successful delivery and orchestration of Proof of Concepts, Workshops and Pre-
  • Production Pilot implementations with customers and partners of Intel .

  • Provide direct technical assistance to customers and partners, interfacing with Sr. technical decision makers for Line of Business and Operational Technology Groups and representing customer market segment requirements back into the business unit for future product planning.
  • Continuously train and keep abreast of the most current Internet of things technologies and associated competition technologies, technology trends and their use cases in the different Industry vertical contexts
  • A successful ITS will be expected to meet or exceed their annual Deal Wins targets and be seen and perceived as a trusted advisor by his / her key stakeholders at the covered customers.


  • EE or Computer Science or equivalent technical knowledge. 5 years of demonstrable experience in technical solutions sales.
  • Good relationship building skills are necessary, including the ability to build a rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of Intel and the customer.
  • Strong team relationship skills with the ability to organize a virtual team around a task to win.
  • Strong skills as the trusted-advisor in solving challenging technical and business problems.
  • Ability to integrate technical, business, market and environmental conditions into a compelling solution that meets the needs of Intel and the customer.
  • Track record of developing close relationships with related ecosystem ingredients and support hardware and software partners.
  • Have strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively present in front of deep technical, executive, and large audiences.
