About Our Client
Our client is a specialized investment entity with a mandate to finance the build out of renewable geothermal heat power plants.
They specialized in Heat Power and operates continuously to meet the minimum level of power demand. The company is passionate about providing high performance energy and services globally.
Direct reporting to General Manager of Taiwan, You will be responsible for :
Acquire & negotiate land lease agreements for geothermal power plant development.
Lead individuals to develop and plan land develop overall plans, strategies, and new business plans.
Research and collect land development feasibility assessment and market research.
Coordinate and assist the branch operations management plan.
Secure Local community consent, maintain brand image.
Manage and develop existing and new 3rd party Project Developers, to secure all necessary to build and operate projects.
Plan and oversee sales and marketing initiatives.
Aligning Business Development with HQ strategy to manage and report sales budget and forecast.
Assist in the analysis and check for related operations such as data and finance.
Develop contact network and sales plans with government entities and other large corporations related to energy.
The Successful Applicant
Relevant academic background (MBA or MSc).
Fluent writing and reading skills in Chinese and business English.
10+ years of Business Development in Land Development, preferably in similar industry (e.g. Solar PV, Wind, Oil / Gas) and in cooperation with construction and / or power plant industry companies.
Familiar with real estate, urban planning, architectural design and other regulations related to land development.
5+ years of managing teams and P&L responsibility experience with documented excellent result, ensuring all of : high quality, cost control and speed.
Previous experience of building up a new business development team and / or a new company is a plus.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Excellent leadership skills with experience of both formal and informal of variety types of personalities and organizational roles on different levels.
Excellent communication skills with documented experience of working in international environments.
Be able to support mobility travel with various local business trips.
Passionate about the environment and sharing the core values of the company to work for a carbon free society.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Hands on attitude with a clear drive to get the job done while at the same time being well organized in planning, and follow up.
