Job Summary :
Responsible for Marketing Planning and Marketing Activity Management with focus on assigned Central Lab System or Assay Solutions
Main Tasks & Responsibilities :
1. Marketing Management
Market analysis, understanding and mapping needs of customers
Support identification of growth opportunities (product and customer segment specific).
Understand develop & implement strategies for the promotion and sales of the Roche Immunology product portfolio.
Adoption of the marketing mix. Incorporate all aspects of the marketing mix including the ability to segment, target and position appropriately.
Market intelligence. Thoroughly understand competitive brands and their solution & Immunology Testing sells and provide the sales organization with appropriate positioning and tools to differentiate product(s) versus the competition in a profitable manner that adds value to the customer
Support deeping plowing business relationship with target stakeholders including clinical experts and technicians in hospitals
Delivering the core value of on-label products and the clinical applications
Support establishing interaction with KOL (Key Opinion Leader), clinical experts and technicians to improve and strengthen the end users' sense of identity to Roche products so as to apply to more patients
2. Product launch
Handle develop and execute the launch plan.
3. Sales support
Sales training (marketing strategy, competition, question set, objection handling & role play)
Provide the sales organization with a sales tool kit consisting of core promotional literature, sales aids, and support materials & the necessary training to help them exceed their sales plan, as it relates to differentiating and positioning RD brand as a solution provider.
Support key customer projects / tenders
4. Product Management
Logistics planning / forecasting
Segmentation & product positioning
Product pricing strategy
Analysis & reporting
5. External Communication
Interface with customers and key opinion leaders including consultants, clinicians and medical laboratory personnel and patients, as needed, to effectively grow the business profitably, while maintaining a customer focus.
Assist Management of Key Opinion Leaders
University degree in Clinical Diagnostics Science or Business Administration is required (e.g. BSc, M.D)
Profound knowledge in the field of Immunology Testing and a comprehensive understanding of Immunology Testing workflow and processes in the laboratory and clinician.
Knowledge about medical aspects of Immunology.
At least 5 years marketing experience in related industry is required.
Experience in Immunology product line customer support activities, incl. product sales, application training, sales and marketing activities preferred.
Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities in project management and strong achievement in past work experience.
Establishing interaction with KOL (Key Opinion Leader), clinical experts and technicians.
Keen business sense and understanding for customer needs, confidence to interact with all management levels.
Specific Knowledge & Skills :
Distinct self-motivation as well as a proactive, structured and result-oriented work style.
Ability to focus and prioritize.
Good theoretical knowledge of marketing tools and practical experience with their application.
Ability to train others and create enthusiasm for a technical product.
Fluency in English (technical); knowledge of further languages advantageous.
Good and fluent in both written and oral communication skills including presentation skills. Confident user of MS Office, esp. of Excel and PowerPoint.
Professional conduct with strong interpersonal skills and customer focused.
Positive working attitude with a sense of urgency and result oriented.
Able to work independently as well as an effective team player.
