Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays ( LCDs ) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
This role will focus on Customer Service (Order to Cash, Revenue Reporting) with limited Marketing / Communication / order process report.
Daily operations of customer service function for OTC process : from order releasing, shipment handling to payment settling;
Proactive communication with internal interfaces, including finance, customs affairs, plant supply chain to manage daily shipment from sourcing plant to local customers;
Coordinate with account teams to execute account strategies from customer service perspective;
Collects customer volume estimates and inputs anticipated purchases into CDT's system to help determine the gross market demand forecast;
Provides ad hoc project support and management, when needed (e.g., implementation of new process for placing orders).
Provide marcomm related activity support including trade show coordination, public relation events and messaging (20% of time)
Provide logistic support for laser sample shipment and documentation as needed (10% of time)
Education & experience :
2-7 yrs working experience.
Business or technical degree
Prefer if previously SemiCon experience
Desired Skills / experience :
Fluent English, Basic Business Knowledge especially on order management process
