Purpose of Role
Maintain Hotel HouseBanks in accordance to hotel policies.
Facilitate daily banking of hotel cash receipts and foreign exchange.
Reimburse of petty cash consumed by departments and distribute cash
Monitor compliance to hotel policies related to house bank, daily cash and
foreign exchange banking. Facilitate training to Talent who are unsure of
Ensure all house floats are supported by current, fully completed and
approved house bank contracts and recipient fully understands hotel policies
related to contracts.
Perform a spot check count of all house floats on a monthly basis and report
Collect daily cashier envelopes from drop safe in presence of a witness every
morning. Open and count contents of each envelope in presence of a
witness and record cash totals on general cashier report. Ensure witness
signs to confirm.
Arrange for daily bank takings and deposits collection. Ensure collection and
deposits are performed on each working day of the week.
