We are seeking a senior hardware design engineer reporting to the Director of RokuTV Hardware Engineering. This position will be responsible for developing local dimming and backlight solutions for our Roku TV reference designs and working with our OEM partners to take that solution from bring up to mass production.
The successful candidate will be an energetic and assertive team player who can expertly manage multiple projects and thrive during rapid development cycles.
They will possess the expertise and determination to ensure the project stays on target with respect to product design, quality, schedule, and cost goals from concept to delivery.
They will be expected to participate in design kick-offs and workshops with OEM partners which will involve local and international travel.
Travel will be about 15% - 35%.
What you'll be doing
Rolls and responsibilities include : Developing low cost and robust local dimming reference designs; Working with the Roku TV PQ team and OEM partners to implement and tune backlight designs for optimal performance.
This person will be part of a larger Roku TV Hardware team that works in multiple locations and supports Roku TV designs and OEM partners around the world.
