Google’s Chrome OS Partner Engineering team works closely with chipset manufacturers and OEMs / ODMs in designing and delivering next-generation innovative mobile / cloud devices.

We build crucial relationships with our long-term partners, who are jointly making Chrome / Android ARC++ platform into optimized cloud and portable devices.

We are driving toward a fast, secure and simple user experience for all Chrome devices and we're growing with the Android Apps in the Chromebook ecosystem.

As a Technical Account Manager on the Chrome OS Partner Engineering team, you are responsible for driving device technical innovations and making our business partners successful.

You will contribute to our current product lines and will collaborate with teams throughout Google to develop device solutions for strategic partners around the globe.

  • Manage strategic partnerships with large hardware manufacturers, ODMs and network operators.
  • Ensure successful device design, development and integration.
  • Manage ODMs and drive for device qualification process. Work closely with chipset and component vendors to qualify new components.
  • Act as a main point of technical contact and drive product and technical issues to resolution.
  • Work with Go-To-Market and Business Development teams to launch devices internationally.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Hardware and OS / embedded software development experience.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in Python and Shell.
  • Excellent debugging / troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent technical, vendor project management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Linux application and kernel package management.
