As a Solution Center Manager holds ultimate responsibility for the solution center organizations and support activities, oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing and sales strategy for the business.

The Solution Center Manger bring together their managerial skills and knowledge of safety and lab procedures to ensure that laboratories operate smoothly, as well as strive to run their laboratories safely and efficiently.


  • To provide application consultancy services and technical support to key reference end users, distributors and specialists.
  • Developing / conducting seminars, product training and product demonstration, assisting the development of local expertise, etc are also part of your responsibility.
  • To perform business analysis and reporting periodically. Working as a team, you will work closely with the instrument sales teams and the regional marketing team to ensure alignment and integration of the market strategies and priorities, and work towards achieving and exceeding business goals.
  • Develops solution center team by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
  • Spearhead and manage the delivery of analytical solutions to customers, with particular in the biomedical, chemical, government and academic industries.
  • Augment company’ s products and services portfolio via diagnosis of customer’ s applications to highlight their needs for HPLC / MS solutions.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing and service teams to ensure concerted approach in managing and nurturing customer accounts.
  • Strive to improve customer satisfaction through customer training and application support.
  • Manage demo lab operations and demo sample results to fit our business growth
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Work closely with AHQ Environmental health and safety (EHS) team to meet local EHS regulation requirement
  • Maintains solution center staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and developing talent.
  • Solution center team operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Achieve more effective customer training through WES planning and operations.
  • Education :

  • Degree / Master / PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmacology or related Sciences.
  • Experience :

  • At least 5 years work experience in analytical chemistry industry or equivalent.
  • Have managed a team for more than 3 years in the relevant field.
  • Prior laboratory experience using LC or MS instrument is essential.
  • Marketing / sales experience in analytical instrumentation for pharmaceutical or life science industries would be advantageous.
  • Strong customer-orientation with ability in developing and fostering long term effective relationships with key accounts, end users and distributors.
  • Ability to leverage on external and internal resources to resolve issues and meet customers' needs.
  • A team player with good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in English
  • Adaptable to dynamic and changing environment.
  • Lab management and knowledge of safety and lab procedures to ensure that laboratories operate smoothly.
