Overview The Quality & Reliability Department has an open for a reliability engineer. Preferred candidate shall have expertise in electronic PCIe and M.
2 card reliability testing and qualification, statistical analysis, and familiar with JEDEC / IEC / ASTM / ISTA standards.
Knowledge of RF or server IC component reliability, IC package, PCB, assembly process is a plus. Job responsibilities for this position include commercial PCIe and M.
2 card product reliability qualification, reliability test hardware preparation, software review / verification, reliability test data analysis & reporting, interface with internal teams (engineering, sourcing, testing, program management) and external manufacturers.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in electronic PCIe and M.2 card product reliability tests, including MTTF, RDT, ESD, Temperature Humidity, biased HAST or THB, Temperature Cycling, Power Cycling, Mechanical Shock, Vibration, Altitude, and statistical analysis (such as Weibull).
Familiar with PCIe, M.2, JEDEC, IEC, ASTM, ISTA and other industry specifications.
Understanding of failure analysis techniques, including CSAM, OM, curve tracing, FIB, etc.
Must be a strong written and oral communicator.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of DOE, FMEA, ISO 9000, RF or server IC component reliability. Experience of PCIe and M.
2 card manufacturing process, PCB, package assembly, testing, solder joint and board level reliability Education Requirements Required : Masters, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
Preferred : Doctorate, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
