PositionDescription Manages, retains, and penetrates a key account (KeyAccount Manager) or multiplelarge accounts within a specificgeographic / industry segment (Senior Account Manager)in a mannerthat meets the business needs of customer(s), differentiatesCorning withinthe marketplace, and supports the achievement of thedivision’s sales and profitobjectives.
Education & ExperienceRequired : o Bachelor’s Degree.o 4+ years work experience intechnical sales.o 2-4 years work experience as a Sales AccountManager o 2+ years Supervisor Experience to lead an account teamoDemonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
oSuccessful completion of an intermediate-level sales trainingcourse.o Fluency in the English language.o Language skills incustomers’ primary geographic location(s).
o Strong connection withkey OEMs and value chain in PC, Display, Smartphone and Touchindustry in TaiwanDesired : o Master’s Degree.
o Work experiencewithin the division’s industry.o Experience working in more thanone country.o Work experience in a Commercial function.
o Technicaldegree or equivalent experience.o Work experience in a globalcompany.o Demonstrated track record of implementing solutions / valueselling strategies.
o Demonstrated track record of managing andgrowing a medium size account throughcross-selling and penetrationover a 3-year period.
o Demonstrated track record of working withmultiple functions within Corning and / orthe customer to close asale.o Demonstrated track record of aligning internal technical andselling resources withthe appropriate customer stakeholders.
oCompletion of fundamental training in Finance, IP, and BusinessLaw.o Successful completion of an advanced sales trainingcourse.
