In this position you will be a key part of compliance team and work directly with our engineers, engineering consultants, the test lab teams around the world.
You will have a central role in ensuring engineered projects meet the Specialized Minimum Test Requirements and are in compliance with local and international laws.
We are continually evolving and improving our compliance system so your position will need to adapt from time to time to support our process improvements.
Flexible hours may be required as well as proficiency in English language for meetings with international offices.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE :
Frequent communication with teams outside of Asia will be required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ensure parts and test records are properly documented in PLM System, prior to testing and after testing is complete.Utilize X-
Reporting to follow up with Product Development team on items that still require testing before bike production start
May require flexible hours due to time zones.Document and request engineering judgement justification for any deviations from MTR Complete test record for items that meet the minimum test requirements Create test records in PLM systemManage test report storage in PLM system Bike COCs : Manage Certificates of Compliance (COC) for US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Supervise and assist with Equipment COCs as requiredMaintain and upload the COCs each month Miscellaneous Engineering projects (as required) Assist with full bike sign off creation by assigning created Test reports to the correct bike model.
Handle revisions to template documents and revision controlMaintain the engineering archive.Facilitate X-reporting that is associated with compliance testing and bike readiness.
