Role Purpose :

  • Support product line management of Auto Interior 3D program and large parts business that includes product offering, pricing strategy, placement planning and promotion;
  • serve as a key interface with commercial, finance, manufacturing, quality and engineering organizations for day to day operations.

    Day to Day Responsibilities :

  • Articulate 3D and large parts value propositions, product attributes, specifications, basis of competition and product trajectory;
  • become expert on downstream use of our products and support sales team to win

  • Support the management of Automotive 3D / Large Parts platform opportunity, identification of critical supply chain to deliver, and channel strategy to win
  • Provide and maintain necessary sales tools such as positioning statement, value proposition presentation, and product offering to customer-
  • facing organizations to ensure effective deployment of product line strategies

  • Collect voice of customer and application engineer feedback regarding product attributes and system design requirement
  • Support the development of 3D and Large parts product line plans, Green Book (5-year plan) and Black Book (Budget)
  • Interpret customer needs and provide key input for capacity planning through forecasting and demand management process
  • Work with EIG Industry Intelligence, commercial and technical organizations to understand market trends, technologies and competitive products
  • Support the development of pricing strategy
  • Work with sales to segment customer base, prioritize customer interaction at the product level
  • Work with marketing communications to support development of external communications, including product collateral, tradeshows, conferences, press releases, public relations, web communications and social media as appropriate
  • Lead / support commercial process improvement around sample prioritization, forecasting, reporting and execution on plans
  • Provide input to glass allocation decision and demand management decision
  • Lead / support key division programs and / or projects
  • Required Experience :

  • 5+ years working experience
  • 3+ years of business experience in high-tech, display technology related, consumer electronics or Automotive industry
  • Experience in a commercial or strategy function
  • Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or science; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • Required skills :

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, able to turn quantitative analysis into meaningful business insights
  • Knowledge of marketing, business analysis and commercial operations
  • Demonstrated ability to interface and team with people across functional and geographic boundaries
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage business relationships using combination of data driven analysis, strategic thinking, networking and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively in a fast paced working environment
  • Ability to handle stressful environment and multi-task
  • Well organized, process oriented, has systematic approach to problem solving
  • Fluent in English, ability to communicate by e-mail and phone as communication will be across countries and cultures
