Job Description :
The liaison / interface between Arrow's suppliers and Arrow sales team.
Drive sales performance for specific lines and work closely with Field Sales to achieve the business objectives
Develop strategic framework to build and enhance business relationship with suppliers.
Develop, grow and leverage the influential supplier relationships to negotiate competitive pricing and availability, to increase sales and gross profit dollars for all regions.
As the primary point of contact between the Arrow sales team and the supplier, Product Specialists also arrange meetings via webcast, phone, or in person in order to drive and increase our market share.
Perform line card analysis both from a technology and vertical segment perspective and identify the strength and weakness of existing line card
Keep abreast of market & new technology development
Perform competitor line card analysis to ensure Arrow’s competitiveness
Requires in-depth knowledge and experience
Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
Works independently; receives minimal guidance
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Represents the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement
Contributes to process improvements

Experience / Education
Typically requires 5 7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
